How Misalignments can lead to Pain and Discomfort
Misalignments refer to deviations from the body's normal structural alignment, which can occur in the Spine, Pelvis, limbs, or even the alignment between different body segments.
Trouble starts when your body is out of balance. Think about your spine for example which is made of lots of small bones called vertebrae, each separated by spongy discs. These aren't just there to keep you upright; each one has its own job. If one goes off track, it can start a domino effect of health issues.

Muscle Imbalances Misalignments often cause some muscles to work harder than they should, leading to tightness, while others become underused, leading to weakness. This imbalance can result in muscular pain, as well as secondary issues like spasms, strains, or even muscle tears.
Nerve Compression & Pinched Nerves Misalignments, particularly in the Spine, can narrow the space through which nerves pass. This compression can lead to conditions like Sciatica, where nerve roots are pinched, causing radiating pain, numbness, or tingling sensations.

Organ Function Though less common, severe or chronic misalignments can affect internal organ function by compressing organs or altering nerve pathways that control organ function, potentially leading to referred pain or dysfunction in organs.
